Julie is a Quiltworx Certified Instructor and owner of JuJuBee Quilt Company, offering a variety of services from longarm to teaching, in addition to a few select notions necessary for paper piecing.
Julie comes from a large family of creative and artistic women. At the age of 14, she made her first patchwork quilt. Following a career as a paralegal, Julie worked in a quilt shop where she mastered her quilt design capabilities and pattern writing skills. She also assisted, guided, and encouraged clients to make their own fabric choices, and because she's taught at numerous quilt retreats, she naturally developed a client base who love and follow her.
When Julie isn’t sewing, quilting, long-arming or teaching, she spends time with her husband, four grown children, five grandchildren and two fur babies. She currently lives in Graceville, Florida, but loves to travel the U.S., with her husband and sewing machine in tow.
As a Quiltworx Certified Instructor, Julie would love to teach you all the tips, tricks, methods and techniques she has learned over the past few years under the direct guidance of master quilt designer Judy Niemeyer herself. She loves building lasting relationships with fellow quilters, helping them to build on their skills year after year.
Julie loves to travel anywhere, and would love to visit you!
